satan-1.1.4exp.tar.g..> SATAN 1.1.4, - get_targets now has a configurable timeout in config/satan.cf. - Documentation fix: our magic cookies are 128 bits, not 32 bytes. - Replaced fping by version 2.0, since the older fping would not work through some (screend) packet filters. - Added COPYRIGHT file at root directory. The copyright was buried too deep in the documentation and people had trouble finding it. - Dropped in a rule to recognize IRC servers (rules/services). - Added heuristics for CISCO router recognition (rules/hosttype). - Now shows TFTP and SNMP in service reports (rules/services). - Avoids hostname lookup when the host is already in %all_hosts. This speeds up the loading of existing data.
